Find your light and fill your feed with local art featured throughout Versante Hotel

The local artwork, thoughtful design touches and panoramic West Coast views will give you plenty of compelling reasons to strike a pose at Versante, Richmond, BC’s only luxury boutique hotel. Take the Scenic Route

In case clocking in a few extra steps wasn’t enough incentive to take the stairs, our vibrant multi-level mural in the back stairwell may sweeten the deal. Created by Vancouver-based artists Jennifer Kook and Jen Tsang of Real Jen Art, the whimsical artwork features a cocktail-swilling octopus, a Phoenix Queen and bright-coloured koi fish — a nod to the ethereal wallcoverings in every guestroom.

Stay a While

When making your booking, you’ll have five bold guestroom designs with distinct textures, patterns, and colours to choose from, so you can select the room type that best suits your mood (or your outfit choice). Each room features a patterned wallcovering with koi fish — a symbol of strength and perseverance in Chinese culture. The view-facing soaker tubs featured in most guestrooms have also become a popular prop by humans and dogs alike.

Bringing friends along? Capture the moment in our 2,275 sq ft, two-bedroom Versante Suite featuring an expansive balcony with sweeping panoramic Coastal views certain to give your followers FOMO. For a similar, but slightly more intimate experience, the two-bedroom CHIL Suite boasts an epic metallic urban tropical pattern that begs to be photographed.

Tip: Find your light with adjustable View Smart tinted windows that let in as much—or as little—natural light in as you desire.

Grab a Bite

We all know the saying “the camera eats first,” but with a space as photogenic as the food and drink, you’ll be snapping photos before you’ve even been seated at Bruno. A brightly-coloured floral wall with a neon logo ushers you in before Executive Chef Will Lew’s line-up of thoughtfully-presented dishes take centre stage.

Tip: For a scroll-stopping entrée, order the Truffle Lavender Duck, served in a wicker basket on a bed of farm-fresh lavender.

Make a Pit Stop on the Second Floor

Take a bathroom selfie to end all bathroom selfies in the second-floor unisex washrooms. With black marble, floor-to-ceiling backlit mirrors, brass accents, lion’s head brass knockers on each stall, and mood lighting emitted from Chinese night market-inspired red lanterns, you’ll be taking any excuse to hit the restroom.

Stop & Smell the Flowers

Step outside and see things from a different perspective on our sixth-floor garden terrace. Fresh lavender and lush greenery add a pop of colour in the spring and summer months, while 360-degree views of the Coastal Mountains and Fraser River provide a unique backdrop any time of year. While you’re there, take a dip in our year-round saltwater pool and jacuzzi, or stay dry with a pic in front of the stylish water feature.

Tip: The sixth floor garden terrace is the perfect stakeout for aviation enthusiasts and travel photographers to capture planes in flight from YVR.
